Thursday morning we decided to fish Eleven Mile reservoir in hopes of landing one of the tanks that inhabit the lake. We caught some nice fish on Jaw Jackers rigged with small micro jigs tipped with mealworms in 6-15 feet of water. Then MF pulled a beast cutbow out on the Dynamic HD Ice. We kept fishing those baits the rest of the day and each caught some nice bows and snake river cuts on them. In between those catches we were running back and forth to the Jaw Jackers that were rigged with the baits a couple feet off the bottom in 8-18 feet of water. The bite wasn't as hot as Antero but the size of the fish definitely made up for it. One last thing on Thursdays events. Early in the morning we saw a white ferret with black tipped ears and tail running across the shoreline and stopping to check us out on occasion. He disappeared by a while later came back with a pretty big dead mouse hanging from it's mouth. He cautiously carried his meal up the hill and eventually went under a rock. A while later Doug hollers from his hole, "something just ran by me and looked like it went towards the sled". I look over and sure enough there's a young ferret at the sled checking out Dougs cut sucker meat. It looked up at me, paused then walked around the sled to inspect me a bit further but then took off running between the two of us back towards the shoreline. We got it all on film but the camera was far away and it didn't come out so good. However after watching the video closely you can see the little guy run up behind Doug without him even noticing. Then it goes around the bucket he was sitting on and right between Dougs legs, stopped for a bit and then ran towards the sled which is when Doug sees a flash go by! LOL it's funny stuff but you kinda had to be there. I'll try and post a short video of the little guy. I couldn't believe he got so close to Doug, certainly was a curious little bugger.

Quarry Lake Grayling Ice Fishing Jaw Jacker This was my first experience fishing for Grayling as I'd never caught one before. Time passed slow but after a while another Jaw Jacker went off and this time I landed my first Grayling ever. A nice 12 inch in a beautiful setting. Hope you enjoy this video.
